St. Regis Foundation

The St. Regis Foundation, Inc. works to preserve and protect the
environment of the St. Regis Lakes, in the Adirondack Park region
of upstate New York.

We are the gateway to the St. Regis Canoe Area; we are a summer
community that dates back to the 1800’s; we are a wilderness area of
unmatched beauty. And the Foundation is working to preserve all this
for future generations to enjoy as well.

Fire barge in action

In recent years, the Foundation’s projects have included:

• Building a boat wash station to keep out invasive plant species

• Funding the Watershed Stewardship program at Paul Smith’s College

• Equipping a fire barge for the Paul Smiths/Gabriels Fire Dept.

• Water quality research and testing
